Film Club

Film clubs in colleges are popular among students who have a passion for cinema. These clubs typically provide a platform for students to come together to watch, discuss, analyze, and appreciate films.Film clubs play a significant role in enriching the college experience by providing a space for students to engage with cinema on both an intellectual and creative level.

Film club of College of Applied Science, Adoor, focuses on creating a communal space for students to watch and discuss films. We organize occasional screenings of a variety of movies, ranging from classics to contemporary releases. The primary goal of our film club is to foster a sense of community among members who share a passion for cinema.

Major Activities:

  • To host discussions where members can share their thoughts, interpretations, and critiques of the films. These discussions can delve into various aspects such as cinematography, storytelling, acting, directing, and societal themes portrayed in the films.
  • To foster a sense of community among like-minded students who share a passion for cinema.
  • To serve as an educational platform where students can broaden their cultural horizons, develop critical thinking skills, and gain a deeper understanding of societal issues through the medium of film.
