Literary Club

The Literary Club in College of Applied Science, Adoor is a vibrant and creative platform dedicated to fostering a love for literature, language, and literary arts among students. It provides opportunities for students to explore their interests in writing, reading, poetry, storytelling, drama, and other forms of creative expression. The Literary Club serves as a hub for literary enthusiasts to come together, share ideas, collaborate on projects, and participate in various literary activities and events.

Objectives

  • To promote a culture of reading and appreciation for literature among students by organizing book discussions on various genres, authors, and literary works.
  • To encourage students to unleash their creativity and express themselves through writing by organizing workshops and writing competitions
  • To organize literary festivals, seminars, conferences, and guest lectures featuring renowned authors, poets, scholars, and literary personalities to enrich students' understanding of literature and expose them to diverse perspectives.
  • To nurture students' interest in theatre and dramatic arts by staging plays and skits, offering opportunities for acting, directing, scriptwriting, and stage management.
